Anmeldung THATCamp Göttingen öffnet am 25. Juni 2014

Uns erreichen die ersten Anfragen, wann es endlich losgeht. Bald ist es soweit und ihr könnt Euch anmelden. Bevor die Registrierung startet, könnt ihr schon mal in das Programm schauen und überlegen, was ihr beitragen könntet. Vorschläge können direkt auf diese Seite gepostet werden. Auf der Seite “Anreise” findet ihr schon jetzt praktische Informationen. Es ist geschickt, möglichst frühzeitig ein Zimmer zu buchen, wenn ihr eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Göttingen sucht, da im Anschluß an das THATCamp eine sehr große Veranstaltung, der 50. Deutsche Historikertag, stattfinden wird. Wir freuen uns schon auf Euch und arbeiten derweil daran, das THATCamp Göttingen vorzubereiten. Jörg Wettlaufer studied History, History of Art and Physical Anthroplogy in Bochum, Kiel and Paris, France. He received his Ph.D. in 1998 for an interdisciplinary study on a problem in the history of late medieval law. From 1996 to 2011 he was involved in a research project on late medieval courts and residences of the Academy of Science at Göttingen that was hosted at the Christian-Albrechts-University at Kiel. In this project he was, among other things, responsible for the research database and the online publication of the results. He is in charge of several online projects that are concerned with, e.g., late medieval travel accounts and the history of emotions in medieval law and he has (co )founded several social online networks for scientists in the last millennium and after. At the GCDH he works for the Academy of Science in the project "Digital Library and Virtual Museum" on generic solutions for common problems in online projects of the Göttingen Academy. He is currently especially interested in the application of semantic web technologies in the Digital Humanities and adaptive research/publication environments for researchers.
