I'm a postdoc at the chair of North American history at Erfurt University. I finished my PhD in 2012 (which dealt with the productivity of delinquency discourse in the US after WWII). Currently, I work in a research project entitled "The eating self" and I am researching food and diet in late 19th and early 20th century US. I have been part of a research group that created an online exhibition on "Traces of Mind Control from Cold War America" (http://brynmawrcollections.org/traces/credits) and have in that context stumbled into the field of digital humanities with all its challenges and chances.
